South Africa mine claims world’s largest diamond

A shareholder in a small South African mine has claimed the company has discovered the world’s largest diamond.
Weighing in at a massive 7,000 carats, it would be more than double the size of the Cullinan Diamond, centre-piece of the British crown jewels.
Brett Jolly, the shareholder, said the gem had now been moved to a secure [...]
