Helzberg Diamonds Launches Ratings & Reviews from Bazaarvoice

Bazaarvoice, the market and technology leader in hosted social commerce applications that drive sales, announces that Helzberg Diamond has launched Bazaarvoice Ratings & Reviews. Helzberg Diamonds, a recognized name in the fine jewelry business since 1915, now allows its loyal customers to share their experiences and opinions on thousands of fine jewelry products to ensure that shoppers make more informed and rewarding purchase decisions.

Helzberg Diamonds selected Bazaarvoice for its superior technology, community moderation, analytics, and reporting. The company, which added Ratings & Reviews in July 2007, worked closely with Bazaarvoice’ s Community Services team to maximize the impact of consumer-generated content across marketing and merchandising initiatives.
Helzberg Diamonds’ customized Ratings & Reviews implementation, which included the use of diamond ratings instead of the standard stars, as well as product rating dimensions such as “quality” and “appearance,” was completed in less than four weeks. Helzberg Diamonds customers quickly embraced the opportunity to provide their opinions, and today 42 percent of all their products have been reviewed. Further, 97 percent of all products have received a rating of 4 or higher.
