Sarin Technologies to expand business in Southern Africa, China

Israel-based Sarin Technologies, a supplier of technological tools to the diamond manufacturing industry has plans to expand its business activities in southern Africa and China due to the increasing demand in those areas for the firm’s diamond manufacturing products.
Earlier in 2004, following the same strategy, the company had opened two regional offices in India, which have since grown to include almost 100 employees. Sarin reported sales in India grew 20.8 percent to $19.7 million for the first 10 months of 2007
The company’s combined sales in South Africa and China increased in the first nine months of 2007 by 67 percent, from $1.5 million to $2.5 million over 2006. Sarin’s 2007 sales in India grew to $19.7 million in the first ten months of 2007, a 20.8 percent increase over 2006.
As the company embarks on its 20th anniversary year this year, it is launching a marketing campaign under the slogan “Sharpen your vision,” which is accompanied by a new logo. The new logo will be used in the company’s publications and will also accompany Sarin’s various celebratory events that will be held throughout 2008.
