Mano River Resources appoints Lord Daresbury

Mano River Resources Inc, the TSX-V and AIM listed exploration and development company with divisions focused on gold, diamonds and iron ore in West Africa, announces the appointment of Peter Daresbury as Non Executive Chairman of its majority owned subsidiary Stellar Diamonds Limited (”Stellar”) in preparation for an IPO expected in the spring of 2008.
From 2002 to 2004, Peter Daresbury served as Executive Chairman of Highland Gold Mining Ltd., a Russian gold mining company and from April 2005 to March 2007 he served as a Non Executive Director of Evraz Group S.A., a steel production and coal and iron ore mining company with assets in Russia
Peter Daresbury received an M.A. in History from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, and also received a Sloan fellowship from London Business School.
