European jewellers directory launched
by Jo Black
The Jewelers of Europe organization has collated an online directory of European jewelry and watchmakers, which may be an exciting and new way of reaching jewellery and watch retailers across Europe.
The European Jewellers Directory©, or EJD, will provide the customers with the ability to identify and reach retailers with pinpoint accuracy across Europe’s biggest and most valuable markets, including Italy, France, Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom.
Filip Van Laere, Founder and CEO of the Jewellers of Europe, the organisation behind the development of the EJD, said that there are 50% more consumers living in Europe than in the United States and there are over 100,000 jewellers across Europe but up until now no-one has been able to accurately target them.
At the heart of the EJD lies a large and powerful database containing the most complete and accurate list of Europe’s jewellery and watch retailers ever complied. Multiple data sources were consulted, integrated together and then further enriched through a variety of secondary sources. Addresses have been validated by one of Europe’s largest and best known database management houses to help ensure that each and every retailer is correctly addressed.
