Archangel status on trading halt
by Jo Black
Archangel Diamond Corporation wishes to clarify that the halt in trading in Archangel’s shares on 9 November 2007 by the TSX Venture Exchange was put in place by the Exchange in consultation with the Corporation pending certain filings by Archangel and the review of the same by Exchange staff.
The Corporation’s shares are not suspended, contrary to certain media reports, and the trading halt was not related to a compliance issue with the Exchange. The Corporation is unable to comment further at this time.
Archangel’s management continues to consult with Exchange staff as to the filings to be made prior to the resumption in trading of the Corporation’s shares and the timing thereof. However, a date for any such resumption of trading will be determined at the discretion of the Exchange and the Corporation will advise the public at the appropriate time.
