New name for Superior Diamonds

Northern Superior Resources Inc. announces that its Board of Directors, and other regulatory authorities have approved the adoption of Northern Superior Resources Inc. as the new name of the Company, replacing Superior Diamonds Inc. The Company will trade on the TSX.V under its new name beginning on Tuesday, April 15, 2008. The Company’s stock symbol, “SUP”, remains unchanged.

The adoption of the name Northern Superior Resources Inc. reflects the increasingly broad nature of the Company’s business, with good progress being made in advancing a number of prospective properties in the Superior Geologic Province of the Canadian Shield involving gold, base metals and uranium, in addition to diamonds. For example, Northern Superior’s Ti-pa-haa-kaa-ning gold joint venture in northwestern Ontario is advancing with positive gold grain data having outlined a dispersal apron approximately two kilometers long with a strike length of at least six kilometers. At the North Thelon uranium project in Nunavut, logistics are now being put into place to initiate the airborne geophysical program. This will help develop highly prospective uranium targets for a drill program planned for the third and fourth quarters of 2008. Northern Superior has also just completed a successful reverse circulation drill program on its Ville Marie diamond project and a diamond drill program on its L’Esperance diamond project.

Dr. Tom. F. Morris, President and CEO of Northern Superior, commented, with the progress we are making, both in advancing projects like Ti-pa-haa-kaa-ning and North Thelon and in building a team of skilled and experienced directors and officers with a diverse range of exploration and mining experience, it was important to adopt a name that more appropriately reflects the increasingly broad nature of our business. The new name will not only support our current exploration projects, but will also support our efforts to acquire and obtain new high-potential properties in the gold, uranium and/or base metal segments of the industry that we identify through our large, internal data sets. To complement our new name, we will be launching a new logo and website by the time of our Annual General Meeting, to be held in Toronto on May 9, 2008.
