The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) has announced the agenda for the 18th GIA Jewelry Career Fair being held at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City on July 25, 2008.
Over 35 companies from the jewelry industry, who are seeking employees to fill a number of available positions, are likely to attend the Career Fair. Leading companies attending this event include David Yurman, Oscar Heyman, Tiffany & Co., and Zale Corp.
The gem and jewelry industry considers GIA Jewelry Career Fair much more than a traditional job fair – it’s an all-embracing event that includes expert speakers and panelists, one-on-one mentoring, networking and workshops. Job seekers can learn how to present themselves, their ideas, and their qualifications compellingly and competitively.
The GIA Jewelry Career Fair is free and open to anyone interested in a career in gems and jewelry.
GIA is the world’s largest and most respected nonprofit institute of gemological research and learning.
