The Gemological Institute of America’s (GIA) New York Laboratory has announced to offer “priority laboratory services” to Jewelers of America (JA) trade show attendees during the trade show this week in New York. The JA show runs July 27 – 29, and the GIA priority laboratory services will be provided from July 24 – July 29 in New York.
Trade show participants submit stones at the nearby GIA New York Laboratory’s take-in windows and get their items back before the close of the show. For example, if a stone gets submitted to the Laboratory on Friday, it will be available for pickup by Tuesday night.
Tom Moses, senior vice president of GIA Laboratory and Research said, we’ll have extended hours at the New York Laboratory on Thursday, July 24 from 8:00 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. Then we’ll extend the Laboratory’s regular Monday and Tuesday hours (July 28 and 29) from 8:00 a.m. till 6:30 p.m.
